Yes, there was no preview for the past season. The main reason is that I was too lazy to even write an article. During this summer I quickly turned into what you would generically call a human wreck. I woke up, ate, sometimes slept all day, played some visual novels, bathed in the summer sun, ate ice cream, flirt a little…
Well, I enjoyed about one month and a half of holiday for the first time of the year. I think I deserved it, next holiday is in… Eleven months… But I guess my summer is a kinda dull topic so let’s focus on something more interesting.

For this incoming fall season, I have set my eyes on love comedies and sentimental series. I guess it’s what you would call the effect of fall nostalgia, when you begin to look at things with introspection, when the sensation of lost days haunt you and when you feel like you want to empathize with some romance story of some sorts.
We see that AIC studios placed major bets, that Sunrise is now reborn from its ashes, and that stories being told for this season are mainly from novels and light novels.
But it’s also a season with lots of continuation series. As expected from popular series though.
Some of the series will air in premiere in September for their first episode and actually start in October.

First, I want to share my concerns about the Japanese situation. This proud country took such a heavy toll. Sadly, it’s something that you can’t avoid when you know that you live on the pacific fire belt, only limit the effects. That’s something Japanese might have been beginning to forget. Nature always make sure you never forget again.

I’m very concerned and even now, I’m following what’s happening, how daily life goes on thanks to overseas broadcasts and my family who lives over there.

Even if Japan is labelled a rich country, even for a country like that, this cataclysm is something one can’t comprehend. Whole cities engulfed in the spades of few minutes, its citizens disappearing without a noise, as the whole country was still shaken at the same time by the earth wrath.

Japan needs help. Because it is our duty as human beings to care for people in despair, who have lost so much on that fateful day.

On a more cheerful note.

Here comes a new fruitful season of anime, and damn it looks like it’s a promising one.
There are action shows, slice of life, comedies, mature shows, and my favourite story of the moment, that I followed since its debut.
Provided you like at least one of the categories mentioned above, there’s no way you won’t watch and follow one of them.

Here’s a preview of Astarotte no Omocha anime.

OFFICIAL HOMEPAGE

This season is quite calm, with several sequels from older series. There’s the classical long shounen run, some action series, but overall, it’s the usual setup. Oh, wait, it seems there might be surprises after all. As usual, I’ll only write about the shows that caught my eye. If you wonder what the other shows are, maybe you’d want to look at other sites (that are far more exhaustive than mine).

This story is made by a very skilled mangaka, Haga Yui sensei, who also drew Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu.
This author trademark is very cute characters, heart warming stories and a great sense of humor.
Rotte no Omocha is serialised in Dengeki Maoh. By the time I write this article, there are already four volumes available and a new one is to be soon released.
